Aston Martin Teases its New DBS 770 Ultimate and a Farewell to Fossil Fuel Cars

It’s no surprise to automotive enthusiasts that Aston Martin is taking its lineup electric in keeping with the trend to transition to an all-electric future. As the trend continues, it’s no surprise that luxury automakers like Aston Martin is embracing the change to electric cars.

The company plans to launch its first EV in 2025 with subsequent models being all-electric. Before 2025, Aston Martin will debut its first plug-in hybrid, the Valhalla which will be somewhat like a transition model between current fuel models and the company’s planned electric future.

The company is waving farewell to its current lineup of fossil fuel vehicles with the new DBS 770 Ultimate, which the company is branding as the final edition flagship. Final edition as in farewell to fossil fuel models. The company teased the new DBS 770 in a new video that left much to be informed.

Instead of the usual depiction of style and performance in intro videos, the company opted for poetry by Emily Bronte to hype the DBS 770 Ultimate. What we do know is that the model will boast an impressive 759 hp which is 44 more hp that the previous 2022 DBS. It’s safe to assume without confirmation that the DBS 770 will keep the famous raucous twin-turbocharged 5.2 liter V12 engine from the previous model.

The DBS 770 is no family car and it’s definitely not the kind of car you take to the local grocery store. It embodies power and performance and feels at home on twisty roads and cross-country driving. It will be able to achieve a top speed of 211 mph and feature carbon ceramic brakes, leather interior and a litany of custom interior design options.

At $300,000 per unit, this is the kind of luxury car suited for a newly minted young millionaire if they can get their hands on one of the 499 units that the company plans to produce.
