The Skyryse One Helicopter Brings Automation to the Rotary Wing Market

With the advent of drones, helicopters looked like they would be obsolete in some industries, but the rotary wing is going nowhere and companies like Skyryse is expanding the use of rotary wing aircrafts to make it more available to the public. Skyryse has developed an automated system that controls existing helicopters.

The system known as SkyOS simplifies rotary wing controls while increasing safety at the same time. The automated system eliminates the cyclic stick, collective level, throttle and anti-toque pedals all for one simple control yoke that the pilot uses to control everything. In addition, a centrally mounted touchscreen controls instruments, engine start, and automated takeoff and landing sequence.

The system continuously monitors aircraft conditions, pilot input, flight parameters and environmental conditions to keep the aircraft and passengers safe. In the event of failure, the automated system automatically glides the aircraft to a safe landing. Skyryse is currently accepting reserves of $2,500 for the Skyryse One.
