CARSULE is a mobile pop-up cabin for your car. This ingenious car tent is designed for vehicles with a swinging tailgate which is common on hatchbacks, minivans, MPV’s, SUV’s and station wagons. The door acts as structural support for the CARSULE while it is oriented “up.” The interior’s cubic design allows for a 2-meter standing height, making it perfect for a variety of indoor events such as sleeping, working, conversing with friends etc. The frame of the CARSULE is made of two metal spring loops that run along the side panels shape with four metal rods connecting these loops to one another. The structure gets its stability from being anchored to the vehicle’s rear door with an adjustable anchor strap. Diagonal ceiling tension lines prevent shear deformation while doubling as a means to hang accessories from the ceiling.
