Sirius Jet is The World’s First Hydrogen-Powered Regional VTOL Aircraft

Sirius Aviation AG is pioneering the world’s first hydrogen-electric aircraft. Named the Sirius Jet, it will feature a hydrogen-electric ducted fan propulsion system that will propel it to 323 mph with an 1,150-mile range.

The aircraft will be completely zero emissions with no environmental impact and will meet global sustainability goals for 2030. The aircraft will come in two models: a three-passenger Business Jet with an 1,150-mile flight range and a five-passenger Millenium Jet with a 650-mile range.

Cruising speeds for both models will be 323 mph at a flight altitude of 30,000 feet. For safety, Sirius is equipping the jet with an airframe parachute system which effectively reduces incident risk to virtually zero. The aircraft will feature a pressured cabin with its ducted fan lift system generating less than 60 dB of noise.
