Ultra-Rare Ming Dynasty-Era Bowl

According to NPR, a Chinese bowl purchased for $35 at a New Haven yard sale last year recently sold for $721,800 at auction. The unidentified man from the Constitution State may have believed he was getting a good deal on some flatware, but what he really got was a highly valuable antique from the 15th century. Turns out the bowl is an ultra-rare Ming Dynasty-era antique dating back to the 15th century.
