This Industrial Drone With Robotic Arms Can Pick Up and Transport Items Up to 44 lbs

Drones are fast becming a staple of modern life and as they continue to evolve we will witness drones taking over tasks that were once done by humans or helicopters. In fact, with the evolution of drones, helicopters are fast being replaced in many areas.

This industrial drone with arms is another example of how efficient drone technology has become. Designed by Japanese company ProDrone, this industrial sized drone has two robotic arms with claws that resemble an Eagle’s claws.

It can efficiently descend from the air onto an item and with its robotic arms, lift the item and transport it to another destination. With a carrying capacity of 44lbs it can easily lift a lawn chair or packages and transport them around job sites or urban areas.

Both the drone and robotic arm are controlled by the drone operator. The drone itself features 7 high-capcity rotots and the company foresees the drone being used in a wide range of tasks from construction site delivery, maintenance tasks, search and rescue, fire extinguishing, urban package transport and a host of other applications.
