This Concept Nu’clear Bike is Made From Bulletproof Glass and Has a Plunger suspension

Many in the bike world have probably never heard of Mikhail Smolyanov until his Nu’clear bike concept hit the headlines. This amazing concept motorcyle features a bulletproof glass frame with retro plunger suspension and is powered by a Ural engine. The Nu’clear bike concept is a revolutionary idea that aims to push the boundary of motorcyle design which has remained pretty much the same since its early days.

While a glass bike may seems ridiculous to some, to others with a taste for style, its a work of art. Bulletproof glass is not only used in the frame but also the wheels, fuel tank and everywhere on the bike where its practical to use. The bike is virtually transparent with every component made of bulletproof glass. Another amazing feature of this glass bike is its engine and transmission. The bike uses a hydraulic transmission system mated to a Ural engine.

While there is nothing new about the Ural engine which comes from bike-maker Ural, its believed future iterations of this bike may run on electic or even hydrogren fuel cell technology. While the glass bike may look cool to the eyes, its far from being practical. The ideal of a glass bike made from bullet proof glass would mean the bike would have enormous weight, far heavier than anything on the market. As of now Smolyanov bike is only a concept that may or may not end up on the road sometime in the future.
