The VALO Hyperfoil is the World’s First Blend of a Jet Ski and a Hydrofoil

When we think of a Hydrofoil we envision a vehicle that is able to traverse over the surface of the water. That being said, the team at VALO has created the world’s first Hyperfoil, a revolutionary marvel of modern engineering, materials engineering and design to create a Jetski hydrofoil that literally flies over the surface of the water.

The San Francisco based company has developed a Jet Ski that can carry two people and travel two feet above the surface of the water. Think of a Jet Ski on steroids, the Hyperfoil proprietary active stability system and Skyride flight control software enables the craft to fly above the surface of the water with precise balance and agility.

It can accelerate from 0 to 45 mph in 8 seconds and slices through waves without a splash and negotiates turns effortlessly. It’s powered by a 108 hp electric motor that can achieve top speeds of 58 mph with an hour and half of wave running between charges.

A blend of a Jet ski and a Hydrofoil is very unique to the consumer watercraft space and nothing like it exists, that’s why the company will produce only a limited number of crafts that will be ready for delivery by the Summer of 2023.
