Shadow Six Racing Typhoon AUV is a Bizarre Combination of a UTV and Jet Skis

Who would have thought about this outlandish machine, only the folks at Shadow Six. Thanks to them we now have the world’s first aquatic UTV that is a fusion of a UTV cabin with two Jet Skis. This ambitious set-up is an engineering marvel that combines the best of both a UTV and a Jet Ski to create a truly audacious machine that is guaranteed to turn heads and inspire followers.

Shadow Six, the brainchild company behind the Typhoon AUV is a company known for motorsport and technology. While we have seen crazy water contraptions before, nothing comes close to the Typhoon AUV audacity in mounting a UTV cabin on Jet Skis.

The body work of the Typhoon AUV is impressive, its body panels are recycled from a Polaris RZR and the Jet Ski hulls are made from carbon composite material. The Jet Ski pontoons are aligned to long-travel Fox shocks both at the front and rear of the vehicle. This ensures that water waves exert little influence on the vehicle’s mobility and guarantees a comfortable enjoyable ride.

The frame is corrosion resistant of course and ultra-lightweight allowing great speeds on the water. The engines are supercharged Yamaha GP1900R SVHO engines, producing 250 hp. For those speed demons that want more power, the company offers the Riva Racing performance kits pre-installed prior to delivery which would push the Typhoon from 68 mph under normal power up to 80 mph on the Riva performance kit.

The entire contraption weighs 1,035 kg and moves rapidly across the water sort of like a hovercraft unfazed by wind and wave conditions. The Typhoon also features incompressible collars at its waterline which allows it to ride through rough water in poor weather conditions. The impressive suspension holds the entire machine tightly together under the roughest conditions and also helps the machine to have a comfortable and safe landing.

Shadow Six Typhoon AUV joins a short list of exquisite watercrafts offering high-performance. It’s ideal for back-country operation and perfect for the Florida everglades. Starting price for the Typhoon is $250, 399 and rises incrementally as options are added on. If you find this attractive and can afford its price tag, head over to Riva Racing in Florida and reserve your very own Typhoon.
