Verdict!

I am a proud owner of a rambunctious German Shepherd and I enjoy taking him everywhere I go whether it be camping, hiking etc. and I can appreciate the value of this product. Dogs are sensitive to cold temperatures and when you are out camping at nights and the temperature plummets, your dog needs to be tucked away somewhere where he or she is warm and comfortable. I found the RUFFWEAR sleeping bag and decided to give it a try and I am impressed with its quality and durability. There are some short comings, such as not enough padding on the inside and that may be why the company offers the Highlands’ Pad which overs additional warmth and protection. Also, it would have been better if the zipper were all the way around the bag allowing it to be separated into two halves which would make it easier to get your dog in and out of it and one half could also be used as a mat inside the tent. One major drawback of this product is that it only comes in one standard size that fits most dog breeds but with myriads of breeds out there in all different sizes it would have been prudent to create more size options.
