Rezvani Tank X is a Jeep Wrangler on Steroids!
The Jeep Wrangler JK is getting an upgrade, or should we say a transformation. The new Rezvani Tank is a departure by leaps and bounds from the previous generation Jeep Wrangler JK. With the underpinnings of America’s iconic off-roader, the 2020 Rezvani Tank will kick off at an eye watering price tag of $349,000. Now that is some serious cash considering the price of a standard Wrangler is somewhere around $30,000. The $349K price tag gets you the flagship Tank or the “off-road supercar” while you can get a standard armored Tank Military model for around $295,000.
The Rezvani may actually earn its price tag when we consider what is built into this vehicle. It’s not called a tank for nothing this behemoth is indeed a tank in many respects. Its powered by the same 6.4-liter supercharged V8 engine that powers the Dodge Demon but of course further upgrade to deliver more than 1,000 hp and 870 pound-feet of torque. With this kind of power, the Rezvani is probably the world’s most powerful production SUV.
The cost adds up when you consider such features as thermal night vision system for $6,500, automatic side steps $2,500, interior lighting package for $2,500, off-road FOX suspension for $12,500, full leather interior for $5,500 and other miscellaneous accoutrements and you can see why the price tag of this vehicle is so expensive. To save a little cash you can purchase the 2.0-liter turbo 4-cylinder model which delivers 285 hp but this model is only for export. The 3.6-liter V6 model costs a little less than the aforementioned 6.4-liter V8 that powers the Tank Military Edition.
The new Rezvani Tank X is a prepper’s dream with bullet proof doors and windows, electromagnetic pulse (EMP) protection and more at an extra cost. The company will begin deliveries on pre-orders beginning in the fall of 2019.
