Rare Omega Speedmaster Watch Once Presented To Astronaut Michael Collins is Now Up For Auction

This ultra-rare 1969 omega speedmaster watch once owned by Astronaut Michael Collins is up for auction with a current bid of $105,000 at the time of writing. This prized watch was presented to Collins who flew the command module of the Apollo 11 lunar mission which landed Astronaut Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong on the moon.

This historic watch case and band are made of 18-karat gold with the case back engraved with “Astronaut Michael Collins, Gemini 10—Apollo 11, No. 19, to mark man’s conquest of space with time, through time, on time.” The watch shows signs of light wear but is otherwise in very good overall condition, according to Heritage auction house. The auction will continue until June 1st, so there is ample time for you to place a bid and own a piece of history.
