Brabus 900 Crawler is a 900 HP Monster Desert Racer With an Exorbitant Price Tag

Brabus has launched the Brabus 900 Crawler, a fresh new vehicle suited for the desert and off-road. The vehicle is equipped with a Brabus 900 V8 twin-turbo engine that generates 900 horsepower and 1,250 Nm of torque.

Brabus has converted from hypercar-hustling super-sedans to the Brabus 900 Crawler, a new kind of off-road racer. The famous German Benz tuner has announced that only 15 examples of the 2022 Brabus 900 Crawler will be made, with none being road legal. Prices start at €891,310 about ($1 million USD).

That’s because, despite its close resemblance to the modern Mercedes-AMG G 63, the super G-Wagen and the 900 Crawler share very few elements. The majority of the body is built of ultra-lightweight carbon-fiber, while the ladder-frame chassis is wholly unique and more akin to a racer than an off-roader that lives on the road.

The same twin-turbocharged 4.5-liter V8 engine that powers the Brabus 900-series cars is found under the hood. It delivers an amazing 900 horses and 1250Nm of torque in the 900 Crawler. The high-riding Benz-powered dune buggy accelerates from zero to 100 miles per hour in under 3.4 seconds, despite a tire restriction of about 100 miles per hour.

Massive brakes, including 16 inch discs on the front axles and large 15 inch rotors on the rear axles, contain all of the car’s power and brings this behemoth to a stop. There are four carbon-fiber-shelled racing seats covered in a unique fabric made by Brabus sports boat division within the open cabin.

A completely digital instrument cluster is forward of the driver, shielded from dust, grime, and water along with a 12-inch GPS navigation system that is entirely waterproof completes the dashboard. The German manufacturer verified that the Brabus 900 Crawler off-roader is now ready to purchase by releasing a video of the 900 Crawler going flat-out in the desert.

With a starting price of a little under $1 million USD, it obvious that this vehicle was created for the few who can afford its hefty price tag.
