Balenciaga and Bang & Olufsen Speaker Bag is a Statement of Creativity

Balenciaga and Bang & Olufsen has collaborated on the Balenciaga Bang & Olufsen Speaker Bag. The project is an ingenious designed handbag with a built-in speaker that demonstrates the company’s capabilities for making bespoke creations for their customers.

The speaker bag as it is known, was unveiled at the Balenciaga 51st Couture show in Paris. The bag is made from a solid block of aluminum which is pearl-blasted, anodised and hand-polished over several days to create the perfect satin finish.

The bag features an internal compartment lined with Italian lambskin that is cavernous enough to store most of your essentials and can be accessed through a door at the rear of the bag. The rest of the shape is occupied by a powerful portable Bang & Olufsen speaker that can operate up to 18 hours on battery life.

The speaker bags will be created in a limited edition batch of only 20 units which will be available for purchase at the newly opened Balenciaga Couture store in Paris. Estimated selling price is expected to be well over $2,000 USD.
