The Porsche Panamera Will Get a Face Lift, New Versions, Handling and Suspension Upgrades for 2024

The new Porsche Panamera is getting a face lift for 2024. The sporty sedan will see some major design changes to its outward appearance and its handling and suspension. The new Panamera will come in three models when it debuts in 2024: the Panamera, Panamera 4, and Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid. The Panamera Sprot Turismo wagon will be discontinued for 2024.

The Panamera and the Panamera 4 will get a 2.9-liter V6 turbocharged engine with 348 hp and 368 lb-ft of torque. That is 23 horses and 37 lb-ft of torque more than previous generations of the Panamera. The RWD Panamera version will go from 0-60 mph in 5.0 seconds, while the AWD Panamera 4 version will go from 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds. The Turbo E-Hybrid version will get a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine paired with a 187 hp electric motor. The combined drivetrain produces 670 hp and 685 lb-ft of torque. The Turbo E-Hybrid will go from 0-60 mph in 3.0 seconds with a top speed of 195 mph.

Upgrades to the suspension includes a two-chamber, two-valve air suspension system that comes standard on all models along with Porsche’s Active Suspension Management system. The new Porsche Active Ride system is also standard and features active shock absorbers mated to an electrically controlled hydraulic pump which allows the shocks to dramatically change their stiffness between comfort and performance driving.

The interior is manageably upgraded with a full digital instrument panel and widescreen multimedia displays, with a center console that has a much cleaner look with few buttons and a lower overall profile than previous models. Pricing for the new 2024 Porsche Panamera starts at $99,900 with the Panamera 4 model starting at $106,900. Pricing for the Hybrid is still to be determined. Deliveries is expected to begin in the Spring of 2024.
