Robotic Person-Tracking Floor Fan
This Robotic Person-Tracking Floor Fan or “Following Fan” as it better known is the brainchild of Minnesota based engineers Nate Oelke and AJ Sakher. It’s an ingenious fan that uses patent-pending computer vision technology to detect a person and automatically rotate itself to stay pointed at the individual. Once mainstreamed this technology will change the way fans, cooling and heating equipment are made, saving energy costs by cooling or heating only desired areas or persons.
